In my opinion, ginger is a miracle spice. I have personally experienced many of ginger’s supernatural benefits.

Ginger may help:

  • Fight germs and viruses
  • Fight inflammation
  • Reduce pain
  • Increase energy
  • Strengthen immune system
  • Weight loss
  • Control cancer growth
  • Lowers blood sugar
  • Helps reduce nausea
  • Reduce menstrual cramps

How did ginger help with my health and how do I use it?

Usually, when I get a flu, I feel very sick, major body ache sometimes combined with headache, nausea and persistent cough.

I’m not a big fan of taking drugs, so here is what I do:

I get:

  • Organic Apples (Gala or Fuji)
  • Fresh ginger

I cut the apple to sizes for juicer and I cut and peel fresh ginger for juicing.

Ginger is very spicy so do not use more than you can handle.

I have a cold-pressed juicer and I make juice out of mixture of apples and ginger.

In many cases, if I have a headache and nausea of 10 out of 10 from flu, I take a big glass of ginger and apple juice (I have gradually built tolerance in spiciness of ginger so I use about 30-35%% ginger and about 65-70% apples, so I make about 16 oz of ginger and apple juice and it is very spicy and I drink it and I can handle its spiciness).

Usually, after I drink a spicy drink of apple and ginger juice, my headache and nausea goes from 10 out of 10 to 2 out of 10, this drink is like a miracle drug for me.

Before I start taking this ginger and apple juice, my flu used to last two weeks, now with taking ginger and apple juice, my flu lasts for about 5 days.

Sometimes my flu combines with night time cough and I remember taking cough medication with no help.

But it takes one drink of spicy apple and ginger juice and my cough would stop and I would feel much better.

So, I never understood that when I go to a doctor for my miserable flu, I was never told to try drinking ginger and apple juice?
